The NFL and the NFL Players Association are donating $250,000 to the Chargers Fire Relief Fund, the league announced Monday. The donation, which comes from the Disaster Relief Fund maintained by the NFL and NFLPA, will be used to help organizations in San Diego County provide relief to fire victims from the recent wildfires. This comes on top of a $1 million donation from Chargers' owners Alex and Dean Spanos and $72,500 in donations from fans attending Sunday's game in San Diego against Houston. That money went to the Salvation Army and families of injured firefighters.
