Falcons starting left tackle Wayne Gandy, a 14-year veteran, suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and is likely lost for the season, according to a person close to the situation. Gandy, playing in his 212th game in the NFL, was injured in the fourth quarter of the Falcons 20-13 loss to Tennessee on Sunday. He tried to walk off the field, but had to be driven off on a cart. A MRI was taken of Gandy's knee on Monday. Surgery will be preformed as early as next week after the swelling near the injury subsides.
