After tearing his pectoral muscle on Nov. 7, 2004, Michael Strahan's recovery has gone very well and the Giants' best defensive player should be at full-strength for the Giants season opener in September. "To be back out there, to just play and not feel any ill-effects of an injury, it gives me a great feeling," Strahan said yesterday, two days after his six-play cameo in Saturday's 17-14 loss to the Browns. "It felt different than practice. Getting out here to practice, that was one step. Now this was the next step. The regular season will be the biggest one."
