Josh McCown was named the starting quarterback for Saturday's preseason opener against the visiting Arizona Cardinals, giving him first crack against his former team. Coach Lane Kiffin announced McCown as his starter after practice Wednesday in Napa. McCown will be followed, in order, by Andrew Walter and Daunte Culpepper, with training-camp arm Jeff Otis prepared for late-game duty if necessary. McCown, Walter and Culpepper will get an equal number of snaps. "Josh has done a really good job and shown a lot of leadership," Kiffin said. "Next game, it may be the opposite."
