Reuben Droughns is the veteran presence in the Giants' backfield. He's in his eighth NFL season, with more experience than all the other running backs in training camp combined. But Droughns has been taking a back seat to Brandon Jacobs. "I'm just letting him flow," Droughns said Wednesday between practices. "He's got that type of mentality that he wants to be the guy you can count on. Right now, he's the starting running back."
