The Bears on Tuesday signed tight end Greg Olsen to a five-year contract. Financial terms were not released. Selected by the Bears in the first round, 31st overall, out of Miami, Olsen was the top rated tight end in the draft and is the first of the 64 players selected in the first or second round of the draft to sign. His selection marked the first time the Bears took a tight end in the first round since they selected Mike Ditka in 1961.
