The New England Patriots have announced that they are working to retain inside linebackers coach Jerod Mayo as well as searching for an offensive coordinator.

Mayo played eight seasons for the Patriots and just concluded his fourth season as an assistant. He has received interest from other teams for head-coaching vacancies, according to report.

Bill Belichick didn't name an offensive coordinator this season, instead leaning on Matt Patricia and Joe Judge in leading roles on the offensive staff.

The Patriots finished near the bottom of the league in a number of offensive categories in 2022.
