Bill Belichick has confirmed that he'll return to the New England Patriots in 2023, what would be his 24th season on the sideline.

"The process will start today," Belichick said of next season after the Patriots' loss to the Buffalo Bills kept them from the playoffs.

Belichick said missing the playoffs is not what the standard is in New England.

"Nobody's satisfied with that. That's not our goal," he said. "There's accountability everywhere, that starts with me."
