The NFL postponed Monday's game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals following the collapse of Damar Hamlin on the field.

Hamlin tackled Tee Higgins near midfield, got up quickly and then abruptly collapsed with athletic trainers coming to help immediately. CPR was administered to Hamlin on the field for multiple minutes and he also received oxygen. Hamlin was taken off the field in an ambulance 16 minutes after he collapsed.

Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest and his heartbeat was restored on the field. As of Tuesday morning, Hamlin was sedated and listed in critical condition.

Hamlin has been starting at safety for the Bills this season in place of Micah Hyde.
