Van Jefferson left the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl celebration early after his wife, Samaria, went into labor during the game and was taken out on a stretcher.

Informed of the news after the game, Jefferson immediately left the stadium for the hospital.

"It was a great day, bro. I got three prizes today. My wife, my son and the Super Bowl," Jefferson said on Instagram.

Samaria had informed the Rams before the game that she did not want them to tell her husband during the game if she happened to go into labor.

Jefferson caught four of eight targets for 23 yards in the Rams' win.
