Restricted free agent Jacques Reeves, who has served as the No. 4 cornerback in Dallas the past three seasons and is one of the Cowboys' better special teams players, has re-signed with the club. The former Purdue standout signed the one-year qualifying offer, for $850,000, tendered him by the Cowboys at the outset of the free agency period. Unless he signs an extension to the deal, Reeves will be eligible for unrestricted free agency next spring.
