All charges connected to an alleged robbery with a firearm have been dropped against DeAndre Baker.

Baker originally charged with four counts of armed robbery and four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm for allegedly taking jewelry and cash at gunpoint during a dice game in Miramar, Florida, in May.

Baker was told to remain away from the New York Giants this spring while his legal issue played out.

A South Florida attorney was arrested on Monday for attempting to extort Baker on behalf of three of the alleged victims.

William Dean, 50, was looking for Baker to pay more than $266,000 to each of his clients, who in turn would do "anything you want, so long as the money is right."

The victims had already recanted their sworn statements last month in affidavits obtained by ESPN.

Baker was a first round pick in 2019 out of Georgia.
