Patriots cornerback Randall Gay yesterday completed a visit with the Jets, who now must decide if they want to sign him to an offer sheet. Gay is a restricted free agent and the Pats tendered him with a one-year, $1.3 million qualifying offer. If Gay signs an offer sheet with the Jets, the Patriots would have seven days to match it. If the Pats opted to let Gay leave, they would be compensated with a second-round draft pick from the Jets, who own two second-round picks in the April 28-29 NFL Draft.
