The Green Bay Packers raised a lot of eyebrows when they used a first-round pick on quarterback Jordan Love.

Matt LaFleur says he anticipates Aaron Rodgers will be the team's starter for "a really long time."

LaFleur went on to praise Rodgers' leadership and new role as a mentor for his rookie teammate.

"I can't say enough about his leadership, his value, his importance to this football team," the coach said. "He is the one that leads us out there. I know he's going to be a great mentor and I'm excited to get back to work with all these guys."
