Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Friday that the club has agreed to terms of a four-year contract with DT Ron Edwards. No other terms of the agreement were made available. Edwards (6-3, 315) started all 16 regular season games for Kansas City a year ago, recording 25 tackles (19 solo), 2.5 sacks (-11.5 yards) and seven QB pressures. He also started in the club?s AFC Wild Card Game at Indianapolis (1/6/07). He originally joined the Chiefs as an unrestricted free agent from Buffalo in 2006.
