The Carolina Panthers are expecting a third-year leap from Curtis Samuel.

In 22 games, the wide receiver has 66 catches for 757 yards and seven touchdowns.

"He's had the most growth out of any player I've ever seen in terms of as a player, confidence ... everything. I'm expecting him to have a huge year. He's worked his way to be in that position," fellow wide receiver Torrey Smith said.

in addition Ron Rivera said Samuel is "light years" ahead of his rookie self: "And now he has taken an even bigger leap. It's exciting to watch."
