The New York Giants aren't undergoing a complete rebuild, according to new wide receiver Golden Tate.

The Giants traded Odell Beckham, Jr. and lost Landon Collins and Olivier Vernon as well.

Tate said after signing with the Giants that the team is "not as far off as people think."

"You can win while you build a roster," Dave Gettleman said. "We do have a plan, and this is a part of it."

Tate's deal is for four years and $37.5 million with $23 million guaranteed.
