Jerry Jones still has confidence in Jason Garrett as the right head coach for the Dallas Cowboys.

When asked whether it was a playoffs-or-bust year for Garrett, Jones said: "No. That's the best answer I can give, and the fairest."

Jones went on to further praise Garrett.

"Our coach and our coaching staff are the No. 1 reason that I'm excited about what we have ahead of us this year," the owner said.

The Cowboys have nine playoff appearances and three postseason wins since 1995.

Garrett is 67-53 with two playoff berths in his seven full seasons as head coach.
