Victor Cruz has been severely limited since he tore his patellar tendon during the 2014 season, but the New York Giants aren't ready to give up on the wide receiver.

Cruz was held out of practice on Monday after his return to the field on Sunday ended with an injured groin.

"We're still not giving up on Cruz," Jerry Reese told WFAN. "Hopefully, he'll make it back."

Ben McAdoo said he had a conversation that centered on "some different things that may be able to help" Cruz moving forward, but declined to say what they discussed.
