Muhammad Wilkerson will not report for the start of the first offseason program under Todd Bowles on Monday, according to sources.

Wilkerson, considered by many to be the New York Jets' best incumbent player, and one who has yet to make considerable money on his rookie contract, is due to make roughly $7M in 2015 on a fifth-year option. He's seeking a new deal in line with his production.

Wilkerson is among the NFL's more dominant and versatile linemen, able to generate pass rush from inside or outside, and has become the leader of New York's young defense.
