Joe Gibbs has two years left on a $5 million per-year deal, but that hasn't kept many people to anticipate his departure from the Washington sidelines. According to David Elfin, "He should be better rested now that he's no longer in charge of the offense. I believe that Gibbs will return to work with Campbell and to fulfill his contract, but that's far from a sure thing. If Gibbs retires for good, it would be hard to justify Williams or Saunders as his successor now."
