University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Demetrius Harris, having seen his basketball career end roughly a month ago, has decided to enter the NFL Draft.

He is projected as a tight end and teams are scrambling to evaluate him as the draft approaches.

"Things are happening very quickly for Demetrius," UW-Milwaukee coach Rob Jeter said. "Like I told all the (NFL) coaches, if you want him to shoot free throws, that's not your man. But if you want him to catch a football, he can do that."

Harris, 6 feet 5½ inches and 237 pounds, played two seasons under Jeter as a post player.

According to the Kansas City Chiefs, Harris ran 40 yards in 4.52 seconds to go with a vertical jump of 36½ inches and a broad jump of 10-2.
