Michael Vick was not released on Wednesday by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles will be off the hook financially for Vick's $3 million roster bonus as long his new team, should he leave the franchise, pay him at least that much.

"There's no real urgency on our part to do something this minute," according to an Eagles' source.

Vick is a hypothetical fit for Chip Kelly's offense, but it remains to be seen if he will take a pay cut.
