The Philadelphia Eagles intend to ask permission from the Cincinnati Bengals to interview offensive coordinator Jay Gruden for their head coaching vacancy.

Gruden has head coaching experience in the Arena Football League and UFL.

Gruden is in his second season as offensive coordinator of the Bengals.

The Jaguars, Rams and Colts sought interviews with Gruden last offseason.
