49ers rookie tight end Vernon Davis will be sidelined indefinitely after suffering a broken right leg in Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Eagles. The sixth overall pick out of Maryland, Davis was injured in the third quarter during defensive tackle Mike Patterson's 98-yard fumble return for a touchdown. "I initially felt it while I was running," Davis said. "I was trying to tackle him, and I felt it pull, and then I pulled up. I didn't make any contact with him, I just felt it pull. That's when the crack must have gone through."
