Russell Wilson was a third round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and quickly beat out Matt Flynn and Tarvaris Jackson to become the Seattle Seahawks' Week 1 starter at quarterback.

Wilson is just 5-foot-10, which tempered expectations of how effective he would be in the NFL.

"(If he was 6-foot-4), he'd have been vying to be the first pick," Pete Carroll said. "He has everything you look for -- all the records, the numbers, he did everything. He'd be right up there with Andrew (Luck), and you'd be trying to figure it out. That's my opinion. I just look at him, and think that there's nothing he can't do."
