Greg Jennings and the Green Bay Packers agreed to a short contract extension in 2009 when they added $27 million in compensation.

Jennings is eligible to be a free agent in March if the Packers don't reach a deal with him before then.

"I definitely want to be here, but understanding the nature of the business, you never know," said Jennings. "There is really nothing else I can really say or do. The ball is not in my court at all. I have to play the cards that I'm dealt. Right now it's football. That's my focus."
