The Patriots haven't seen their offensive line gel through the first three games of the preseason, putting the health of star quarterback Tom Brady in jeopardy.

New England is waiting for Logan Mankins to get back to full speed and with the line in question they may have to lean on the running game.

They struggled mightily to protect Brady in Friday night's preseason game against the Buccaneers.

"How does a team respond from this? Do we learn from it, do we improve from it? Does it motivate us to work harder, study harder?" Mankins said. "I think any time you have as many plays go the way we did that were disappointing, I think you just have to see how the team sees those plays and responds to those plays. If they continue to happen, we didn't learn anything. If we get better, then we did."
