The Raiders met with officials from the NFL, as well as the city of Oakland and county of Alameda in regards to a new stadium.

While the A's and Warriors are uninterested in remaining in Oakland in a new facility, the Raiders have expressed interest.

"It was an important meeting because it is at a stage where the Raiders must develop a (stadium) option," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said in an email.

If the Raiders are unsuccessful in securing a replacement in Oakland, the team could consider sharing the 49ers' new stadium in Santa Clara or moving back to Los Angeles.
