Jamaal Charles took a shot to his left knee in Friday's preseason game against the Cardinals, but his repaired ACL wasn't even on his mind. The fifth-year running back missed much of 2011 following a torn left ACL. "I was even paying attention to that," Charles said. "It was good just to be on the field again and running the ball again in a real live game." And while Charles wasn't thinking about the knee, the rest of the Chiefs were. "For him to take that hit, I think that helped clear his mind with where he is with that injury," coach Romeo Crennel said. "Until you get hit on it, you just don't know. You're always wondering about it."
