Patriots owner Robert Kraft made a call to incoming Browns owner Jimmy Haslam this week to offer congratulations and an opportunity to learn the NFL business. Haslam is headed to suburban Boston next week to meet with Kraft, whose team has won three Super Bowls and played in two others. "I'd be crazy not to," Haslam said of accepting the offer. "He said, 'I want you to come up here, and I'll show you everything.' I'd have to be the dumbest guy ever not to take him up on that. "There are several other people who have reached out and want to do the same thing. I'm going to listen and learn, and I'm going to be taking a lot of notes."
