The Bears are expanding the tight end position under new offensive coordinator Mike Tice. Mike Martz rarely would use the tight end in his system. While the Bears have newfound speed at receiver in Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, the tight end will create new opportunities in the middle of the field for Jay Cutler.
