Sean Payton's suspension for the 2012 season was upheld by the NFL on Monday. Roger Goodell added that the coach must meet certain requirements for potential reinstatement. Once Payton's suspension kicks in April 16, he can't speak to the team regarding football or operational matters until after the Super Bowl. Though Payton's suspension technically ends after the Super Bowl, he has to re-apply for reinstatement and have Goodell review his status.
