After winning Super Bowl XLVI, the Giants and throngs of fans were treated to a ticker-tape parade along the Canyon of Heroes in lower Manhattan on Tuesday morning. As many as one million people were expected to attend. The parade ended at City Hall, where Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former Giants great Michael Strahan presented the team with the keys to the city. The Giants beat the Patriots 21-17 on Sunday to capture Super Bowl XLVI. Heading into their Week 16 matchup against the rival Jets, the Giants were 7-7 and on the verge of missing the playoffs for a third consecutive season.
