Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson said Monday that he apologized to his teammates after being benched for Sunday's game for missing a special teams meeting Saturday. "I addressed my teammates as a professional and as a man today at our meeting and told them I'm going to go out and put it all on the line and continue to do what I need to do for the rest of the year," Jackson said. Jackson is in the final year of his rookie contract and held out for 11 days during training camp. He hasn't complained publicly about not getting a new deal. The deadline for teams to give players contract extensions and have money count toward this year's salary cap passed.
