The Raiders are interested in adding Green Bay director of football operations Reggie McKenzie to their front office. Former Packers general manager Ron Wolf, who hired him back in 1994 and retired in 2001, is a strong supporter of McKenzie. "You're talking about the ability to evaluate, right?" Wolf said. "Pure evaluation. Yeah, I would think so. He's just as good as Ted is. "Reggie's a tremendous evaluator. He can tell you who can play and who can't play. That's what it's all about. Some can write reports but can't tell you who can play. "Whatever that is, he has that. He has a feel." Several weeks ago, NFL Network reported that McKenzie and the directors of player personnel for three teams were the top candidates for the post in Oakland. The others were Eric DeCosta of Baltimore, Tom Gamble of San Francisco and Jimmy Raye of San Diego.
