Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan has defended his surprising absence from camp, saying he left to deal with a personal matter and isn't upset with his contract. Finnegan wrote on Twitter Sunday that he has spoken to coaches and teammates and will resume "all things asked." He says his personal issue needed attention and he will be back playing Monday when he will answer all questions. "My absence had nothing to do with a holdout yet a personal matter that Titan officials were aware of. I am grateful for being a Titan," Finnegan wrote in one post. "I am also thankful for my current contract and direction of team."
