Texans running back Arian Foster, the NFL's rushing champion last season, left practice early Friday after straining his hamstring on a 40-yard touchdown run.
Houston coach Gary Kubiak said he was uncertain about the severity of the injury.
"I don't know, but he didn't feel good, so I just said 'get out,'" Kubiak said.
"He went 35, 40 minutes and looked great, so I'm hoping he'll be right back out there. We'll see."
