The NFL plans to institute random blood testing for human growth hormone this season, league attorney Jeff Pash told The New York Daily News. Experts are mixed on the accuracy of HGH blood testing. There is no urine test for HGH. The NFL randomly tests for steroids and believes it has made great strides in eliminating performance-enhancing drugs from the game. "We expect that we will have testing for HGH. I think that both sides believe that's important for the integrity of the game and that we should continue to be leaders here," Pash said. "I think that's a view that's strongly held by the players as it by us."
