The Giants will not go away for training camp because of the lockout, instead opting to stay at the Timex Performance Center in East Rutherford, N.J. "In light of current circumstances, it simply became impractical for us to hold camp away from home," Giants president John Mara said in a statement. "The University at Albany and the Capital Region has been a great summer home for us for 15 years, and we have every intention of returning there in 2012." The Giants joined the Jets and Ravens in deciding not to return to regular camp venues as uncertainty continues because of the lockout.
