Lex Hilliard is hoping to get a chance to be the full-time running back for the Dolphins, who are ready to move on from the Ronnie Brown-Ricky Williams era. "Patience is a great virtue to have," said Hilliard, who was a sixth-round pick in 2008. "Ricky is always telling me be patient, trust your eyes." Because of the lockout Hilliard and Kory Sheets are presently the only tailbacks on the Dolphins roster, but coach Tony Sparano admitted earlier this offseason he has no idea if either can be featured backs in the NFL. "I feel really comfortable with Lex," is the strongest endorsement Sparano's given Hilliard.
