Bengals owner Mike Brown may have inadvertently tipped the team's hand with comments related to Carson Palmer. Brown has maintained that Cincinnati, which drafted quarterback Andy Dalton in the second round, won't trade Palmer. "[Palmer is] a very fine player, and we do want him to come back. If he chooses not to, he'd retire. And we would go with Andy Dalton," Brown said. Does that mean that Dalton wouldn't have to compete for the starting job?
