Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward's dance partner was injured and taken away on a stretcher on Friday because of a practice injury. Kym Johnson, a professional dancer partnered with Ward, was injured during rehearsals for ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." Video footage on Entertainment Tonight's website showed Johnson's head in a brace while she was being placed in an ambulance. "She was taken to the hospital for precautionary measures to assure she is OK," said Jane Negline, Johnson's personal assistant. Ward posted to his Facebook page last night that Johnson fell and suffered a neck injury. "After several tests (at the hospital), she was cleared by the medical staff, but she is bruised, sore and wearing a neck brace," Ward said. "Kym plans to continue with me in the competition and get back to rehearsal as soon as possible."
