Derrick Brooks is returning to football as the president of the Arena Football League's Storm. Brooks, 37, who hasn't played since the 2008 season and officially retired last August, joins former Buccaneers teammate Jeff Gooch, 36, who was named vice president of football operations, in the Storm's front office. "Our goals focus on winning football games while serving our fans and the Tampa Bay community in a world class manner. Derrick and Jeff, who are both well respected in the NFL and Tampa Bay communities, will lead our efforts on and off the field; they are a perfect fit for us," Storm chairman Jeff Vinik said in a statement announcing the hirings.
