Jaguars quarterback David Garrard is preparing for possible competition from a highly-drafted rookie this coming season. "I know Gene and Jack are going to do their best to get the best players that they feel like this team needs," Garrard said. "I know I'm the starting quarterback for this team, so I'm going to continue to go out and prepare like that and work my butt off to make sure this team, this city wins a championship." Garrard has spent the past three months rehabilitating his right hand, with which he says is able to throw "just fine." He is used to hearing the possibility of Jacksonville looking for a replacement. "Eventually it's going to happen," Garrard said. "I don't have a problem with it."
