The NFL Players Association will not stage an alternate event head-to-head versus the NFL on the first night of the draft, according to league sources. Whenever the NFLPA puts together its plan, it is more likely to be an event on a different day, at a different hour than the draft starts. Those decisions still are being made, and the players association still is scheduled to meet later Monday to see if any verdict about the draft can be reached. Still, the NFLPA is not changing its stance that potential draft picks shouldn't attend the draft, scheduled for April 28-30 at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
