The Packers have signed coach Mike McCarthy to a new multiyear contract. "We are very pleased to finalize this agreement with Mike," Packers general manager Ted Thompson said in a statement. "He's a good football coach, a good leader, and a good man. I look forward to working with Mike into the future." McCarthy led Green Bay to a Super Bowl win over Pittsburgh less than a month ago. His previous contract ran through 2012.
