Ty Law was at the barbershop last week when he talked to Chiefs coach Herm Edwards, and their conversation, as always, went on and on. It was just like last summer, when Edwards was with the Jets and Law was an out-of-work Pro Bowl cornerback. They?d talk once a week, until finally Law said he was ready to come to New York and Edwards said, ?Come on in.? ?We?ve had a relationship for a long, long time,? Edwards said. ?That?s why we probably got him to come to New York last year because of our relationship. ?We?ll talk again. He?ll call me or I?ll call him this week. ? If things work out, it would be great.?
