The Panthers are expected to name Ron Rivera their newest head coach on Tuesday. Rivera is currently San Diego's defensive coordinator. Carolina was the ninth team with which Rivera has interviewed for a top job since 2006. He was Chicago's defensive coordinator from 2004 to 2008, when he took the same job with the Chargers.
