Shanahan also addressed Thursday's statement by McNabb's agent, Fletcher Smith, calling the missive "disturbing," "entertaining," and "a joke." He said that his relationship with the benched McNabb remains "workable." Shanahan stated that they've "never had a confrontation all year."
